The 2019 version of the video has now been released and aims to fix these problems by including beloved fans such as PewDiePie, BTS and Blackpink.

The video has received 4.7 million dislike and 2.1 million likes in just one day. Much of the respondents indicated that the viewers did not hate the video in the same way as they disliked YouTube Rewind 2018, but were actually let down by their lack of ambition.
