We all are aware of the Jaclyn Hill contaminated lip kit controversy.
On July 24, Jaclyn Hill posted a 19-minute long YouTube video titled “Where I’ve Been”. In the video, she basically blamed everyone for the issues that were found in her lipstick. She also claimed that she fired a lot of people because of what happened. She did not take any responsibility, nor did she provide any answers as to why the lipsticks were filled with air bubbles, hair, sharp objects and what not.
Furthermore, she tried to give reasoning as to why she deleted her social media and went hiatus but no one believed her. Her reasoning for leaving the platforms was because she was the “CEO” of the brand, and not because she was embarrassed. However, she kept contradicting herself in the video by claiming she was embarrassed and then claiming she wasn’t embarrassed. Like Bruh?
Additionally, many people believe that she is reading a script because she kept looking down as if she was reading from something. Here are some pictures to prove that point:
The only fans who are happy that Jaclyn is back on YouTube are her die-hard fans. However, many people have started to unsubscribe and turn their back on her. People who watch her YouTube video were not happy with her putting the blame on everyone, because she was the one who was at the forefront. She was the one keep check of the quality, production, and the overall process. She was also the one who falsely advertised her contaminated lipsticks.
