After the powerful Lotte Duty-Free Family Concert performance global sensation BTS is taking a break. On 11 August Big Hit Entertainment has announced that BTS is going on an extended break. This is the first time they are taking this long break since their debut in 2013.

In the statement, Big Hit said, “This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly,”

This will also be the first-time member Jungkook and RM (Kim Namjoon) will celebrate their birthday with their loved ones since 2013. We are not sure how long the break will last, but we will be seeing the boys perform on 11th October for their BTS World Tour ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During the break, Big Hit has requested ARMYs to give the boys their privacy if we see them. “Should you have a chance encounter with a member of BTS while they are on vacation, we ask that you show consideration for their need to rest and enjoy their private time off. BTS will return refreshed and recharged to return all the love you have and continue to show them.”

Fans are happy and sad. Their happy because BTS is finally getting the rest they deserve and sad because they will miss them a lot.

Since 2013, BTS has been working continuously. They have been on endless tours, released amazing music, attended award shows, won a lot of awards, a successful documentary, 2 successful movies, collaboration with cosmetic company, released their own perfume, their adorable BT21 merchandise, Run episode, Bangtan TV, UN speech, ambassador of Love Yourself Campaign, their own game, broke Beatles record, performed at the iconic stadium where Queen once performed, broke numerous records, got a massive worldwide reach, and the list goes on.
