Rumors of Sarah Palin-Scott Richter Affair Denied

Filed under: Uncategorized — The Bored Blog @ 5:17 am
The ex-wife of a man said to have had an affair with Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin tells it’s “absolutely, totally false.” “I can tell you this with 1,000 percent certainty, Sarah Palin never had an affair,” said Debbie Richter when reached on Friday afternoon. The rumor that her now ex-husband, Scott Richter, had an affair with Sarah Palin gained momentum after the National Enquirer reported she had been romantically involved with one of Todd Palin’s former business ass

Another day, another very pointless story about the very pointless Peaches Geldof Today, witness little Miss ‘everything you hate about public school in human form’ in the new advert for Agent Provocateur. Yes, apparently the eldest Geldof sprog was perfect for their ‘Season of the Witch’ campaign. We heard on the grapevine that a gossip columnist (probably) fabricated an insider who whispered within the earhole of an alleged source who revealed to a (possibly) real live human who asked a w

Russia is target of smear campaign by Georgia and its Western allies. By Alexander Darchiev Since Russia responded to a Georgian attack on South Ossetia a month ago, it has become the target of a smear campaign waged by Western PR agencies and lobbying firms hired by Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili. Even more stunning is the U.S. administration's willingness to distort the truth. It's worth noting that hostilities began after the Georgian government took a criminal decision to ass

What More Of The Same Really Means

Barack Obama has pounded away at his core message that if you liked the last eight years, then you should vote for John McCain because he'll deliver more of the same, but if you want change, you should vote for Obama-Biden. It's a good message and it should remain the centerpiece of the campaign. But as Barack Obama and Joe Biden continue on the stump, they need a quick way to describe what more of the same really means. To that end, here's a three-part proposal, based on the arguments that

Albert Einstein once observed that:  “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one,” and once everyone here at Coaches Hot Seat got a good look at Week 2’s play the realities of the college football season in 2008 are starting to settle in.  One thing that has nothing to do with the game of college football, but is very important for our country, is that once one gets away from their own city and gets out into this great Republic they quickly realize what a hellava country we liv

September 5, 2008: Speculations and Opinions on Next Superman Movie

Filed under: Uncategorized — The Bored Blog @ 4:48 am
With the announcement that Warner Bros. are looking to re-introduce the Superman film franchise, it was inevitable that newspapers the world over would start weighing in with their opinions and speculations about what should happen in the next movie. Geoff Boucher at the LA Times posted an article titled "The Superman problem: Can he still fly in the 21st century?" in which he says: To my mind, the best thing Warner Bros. could do with the next Superman film is to go cosmic, not gritty.

A Palinomenon: John McCain waves and the crowd chants “Sar-rah! Sar-rah!”

Here's something to maybe watch for. Sarah Palin is no William Miller. Nor is she a Spiro T. Agnew. Both those guys were Republican political nobodies picked by prominent presidential candidates (Barry Goldwater and Richard Nixon) to go along and fill out the No. 2 spot on the GOP ticket because somebody had to do it. Judging by the news coverage in recent days -- and by measurable reader response to items about the Alaska governor, including this widely-viewed Palin fashion photo gallery --

Pay Per Click Management-Offline Conversions

Filed under: Uncategorized — The Bored Blog @ 4:35 am
A study collated a few years back showed that in the electronic and gaming markets over 90% of searchers trawled the net and found specific product information online, but then bought offline. The trend was to visit a local store or pick up the phone and purchase. As a Pay Per Click Campaign delivery Manager this is one of the biggest hurdles that I come across on a day to day basis. Many clients have raised concerns regarding a low conversion rate but have been too busy on the phone with n
